Christmas gift
A Christmas gift from Hardanger when you are not going
The gift that lands has the place on it. The deadline is the post, not Christmas Eve, and the printer has not named a last day.

The place
You know who it is. The friend who grew up in Odda and still calls it home after twenty years somewhere else. The cousin who slept a night in Tyssedal before Trolltunga and has shown you the photo from the rock more often than you asked.
Search for a Christmas gift from Norway and the lists pick what is easy to post: a cheese slicer, Selbu mittens, chocolate. Search for one from Hardanger and the first shop that is not ours is Hardanger Bestikk, which makes cutlery under a place name. None of it has Odda or the Sørfjord on it.
Pick the place when the person you are buying for says a name.
I Love Odda puts a red Hardanger apple where the heart would be. It is the design behind 44 percent of all orders in the shop, by our own sales figures of 20 September 2026. I Love Hardanger is the same apple for the whole fjord.
One mug is enough. You do not need thirty products to send a name. If you are not sure of their size, choose the mug. It has no size to get wrong.
The winter picture
The second way is a picture of the winter, not a word.
Julegåve — vinterkai is snow-covered boathouses in red, ochre and green along a quay, with a still fjord and mountains behind. Julegåve — eplehage is mountains, fjord and apple branches around a star flower, lettered «Julegave fra Hardanger»: a Christmas gift from Hardanger.
If they did the hike, it is Trolltunga — turist. From Skjeggedal it is 27 kilometres and eight to twelve hours, and the clock starts at the car park, not on the rock. How the day goes is in the Trolltunga piece.
None of these sits in a shop window in Odda. They are printed when you order.
The drink
The third way is the gløgg. We do not sell cider, so the bottle is not in the parcel. What arrives is the name on the mug.
Sider frå Hardanger was the first alcoholic product in Norway with a protected geographical indication, under the regulation of 17 April 2009. Which bottle carries the name is in the bottle piece. Hardanger gløgg is that cider, warmed until it steams. Boil it and the apple cooks out.
Hardanger eplegløgg and Eplegløgg frå Hardanger are the gift for someone who knows the mug. Write the recipe's address on the card: hardanger.shop/guide/en/epleglogg-oppskrift. Then the gift comes with an evening.
When to order
The printer has not named a last day before Christmas. We do not write one either.
Standard delivery to Norway is 7–12 working days: 2–5 days of production and 5–7 days in transit. Spreadshirt, who print the orders, call those times non-binding estimates. The exact time is shown at checkout once the items are in the basket, and that is where to look for any other country. Check it before you pay.
Count twelve working days back from the day the parcel has to arrive, and add a margin. Saturdays and Sundays do not count.
Posten's own page is still headed «Sendefrister for julepost 2025». It gives 16 December for a large Norgespakke inside Norway, 22 December for express, and 8 December to the USA and Canada. Those are dates for a parcel Posten already holds. They are not the day the printer needs your order.
If the gift misses, returns are 30 days.
We have not sent one of these as a Christmas gift ourselves, and there is no story here about a parcel that arrived. If an official deadline appears, it goes here, with its source.
From the shop
Four mugs from the three ways. Prices are on the product pages.
We have no physical shop in Odda. What you order is printed to order and sent by post.
